The Definition of Giclée

Originally coined by Jack DuGanne of Nash Editions, Giclée is the term used to describe the digitally driven ink-jet printing process for making fine art prints. The term, from the French verb gicler, means "to squirt” or “to spray". Giclée is pronounced shee-clay.
